1. Cookies and related technologies
Cookies are small pieces of information stored in a browser and may be sent back according to their settings. Other storage, such as sessionStorage, can also hold browser information but is not sent back automatically in the same way. This policy explains the use of these technologies by qsqear.com.
2. Current cookie use
The current public pages do not use optional analytics or advertising cookies. Complianz remains installed without automatically granting optional-cookie consent. Cookies or preference data from earlier use may remain in your browser. Remembering acknowledgement at the entry screen remains separate.
Storage necessary for service operation, security or remembering choices must be limited to its actual purpose. Behavioural analytics or marketing requiring consent must have a separate choice from visiting the website or acknowledging a notice. A preference is not automatically necessary simply because it makes use more convenient.
3. Remembering your choice within the browser session
The entry screen displays the Website Terms, Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy. After you read them and choose to accept, the system stores only the document version in your browser’s sessionStorage under qsqear-public-entry-session-v1 so that the entry screen is not repeated in the same session. A new session or a change in document version requires you to review and choose again. If you decline, you remain on the entry screen and can read the documents or contact the company.
This feature does not send an acceptance-recording request to the server or create a per-visitor acknowledgment record in the company database. Its stored value contains no random identifier, timestamp or identity-verification information. It controls the browser display and is not company-side evidence that a particular person read or accepted the documents.
Accepting the terms and acknowledging the notices is separate from optional-cookie choices and does not waive statutory rights. Technical information recorded by hosting or security systems remains separate, as explained in the Privacy Notice.
4. Cookie information and browser controls
You can open “Cookie information” at the bottom of the page to read the explanation and policy links. This is information, not consent, so optional-cookie accept and deny buttons are not currently shown. If an optional service requiring consent is added in future, appropriate choices must be available before that service is enabled.
You can delete or block cookies and website data through browser settings. Clearing them may cause the website to ask for choices or acknowledgment again. Blocking storage that is genuinely necessary may affect the corresponding function. Rejecting optional cookies is not a refusal to acknowledge a notice.
Clearing browser information does not automatically withdraw or delete information already received by a provider. For information for which the company is responsible, you may exercise the rights described in the privacy notice.
5. External websites and contact
External websites opened through links have their own providers’ policies. Embedding an external service requires separate consideration of the information transmitted and the lawful basis. A link to a policy does not replace consent where consent is needed.
